Power Frost Frostproofer Concentrate

A premium quality, concentrate additive that increases frost resistance and accelerates the setting time of cements by improving the rate of hydration. 5 x stronger than standard formulation.

Power Frost Concentrate
  • Developed for brick laying and rendering subjected to low and sub‐zero temperatures
  • Increases rate of curing of mortar to reduce the possibility of cracking caused by frost
  • Chloride free formulation
  • Non-corrosive; will not attack and degrade steel wall ties, reinforcements and other steel items
  • 5 times stronger than standard frostproofers
  • Works by exothermic reaction
  • UKCA Approved
  • Enables all-year-round construction by accelerating set and cure times in low temperatures.
  • Increases the rate of hydration, improving early strength gain and frost resistance.
  • Allows up to a 15% reduction in gauging water, improving workability and reducing shrinkage.
  • Enhances resistance to water penetration and improves overall durability of mortar and concrete.
  • Can be mixed neat with Portland cement to plug holes caused by pressure leaks.
