Bitumen Paint

A general purpose, solvent‐borne, bituminous black paint for protecting many building materials against water and weather damage. When dry it forms an odourless and taint‐free bitumen film.

Recommended for use where frost or rain conditions prevent the use of emulsion-based coatings.
Provides waterproofing and weather protection for a wide range of substrates including ferrous and non-ferrous metals such as steel, iron, lead, zinc and aluminium, as well as concrete, roofing felt, fibre cement, corrugated iron, asphalt, brick and wood.
Helps reduce corrosion and decay, making it ideal for protecting exterior metalwork including fire escapes, ladders and gutters. The coating can be overcoated with a suitable solar reflective decorative paint to extend its service life.
