Meet Travis Bham, our new Product Development Manager.

Travis comes to us from a career in structural adhesives and chemical anchoring solutions with Chemfix in Dewsbury where he was snapped up straight from University.

So what attracted him to Bond It? “I want to enhance my skill set and work on a variety of products” he says “I also want to progress in my career and this is a good opportunity to go a little higher with a company that I feel will support and encourage me”. Sounds good to us, Travis, and we’re glad to have you on the team.

The T6 Factor? Travis was one of six brothers growing up and all their names begin with the letter T: Tayen, Teo, TJ, Taylen, Travayne and of course Travis. That must have been difficult when a letter arrived addressed to “Mr T. Bham” then.

Home life now is with Wife Gemma who is expecting their first child this year: “I’m a control freak” he says “and it’s killing me not knowing whether it’s a boy or a girl but we want that nice surprise at the birth”. To relax he has an eclectic taste in music, preferring the indy sound as opposed to Gemma’s hard rock and metal but they do cross over sometimes: they met initially whilst both listening to ‘Taking Back Sunday’ over MSN. As for movies, Travis likes a thriller or horror movie and if he can’t get those he’ll settle for a good weepie, “Well it’s good to get emotional every so often isn’t it” he says. When pressed to name a favourite movie there is no hesitation, “Oh Forrest Gump” he says enthusiastically “It’s got everything and it makes me cry”.

Welcome aboard then Travis, your skills will be put to good use here and with our vast product range you’ll rarely be working on the same thing twice. After all, chemistry is like a box of chocolates … you never know what you’re gonna get.
