Meet Terry Hanley

Joining us as our new Production Manager, Terry comes hotfoot from Everbuild with a host of qualifications under his belt. With over 20 years of managerial experience, he is well versed in creative problem solving, analytical thinking and lean manufacturing. His qualifications include IOSH, HACCP (level 3), Food Safety (level 3), Lean Six Sigma (green belt) and ILM Management (level 3), so he's certainly no stranger to running a busy production environment.

Very approachable on a personal level, Terry prides himself on being the 'go-to' person when problems arise - an attitude which has already begun to build him a reputation for stability and calm management amongst the staff here: "I'm highly motivated", he says, "and I enjoy interacting with new people and building relationships". Sounds good to us.

So what's he like away from work? "I'm a family man, my Wife is my absolute rock and we have three boys all grown up and living their own lives now. We also have three grandchildren, ages one, two and six who we love having round at home". And when he gets an elusive moment to himself he loves Formula One racing and football along with being an active member of Andy's Man Club: a male mental health charity committed to breaking the stigma around men's mental health issues. "People need to talk", he says, "Whoever you are, be it at work or at home, it's so important".
