Bond It Raises £1,600 for Overgate Hospice

Members of the Bond It team took on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge this weekend, raising an incredible £1,600 for Overgate Hospice.

The challenge was set to see the team tackle the famous Yorkshire Three Peaks, but the weather had other ideas. From the outset, the group faced relentless rain, poor visibility and extremely challenging conditions across the route.

Despite the conditions, the team pushed on, battling the elements and putting in a fantastic effort before the event was ultimately brought to an early end due to the severity of the weather.

While it wasn't quite the finish anyone had planned, the day was still a huge achievement – and, most importantly, one that has helped raise vital funds for a cause close to our local community.

Supporting Overgate Hospice

Based in Elland, supporting organisations within our local community is incredibly important to us, and we're proud to have raised funds for Overgate Hospice.

Overgate provides specialist care and support for adults in Calderdale living with life-limiting illnesses, as well as supporting their families, carers and loved ones. Its services are provided free of charge and rely on the continued support of the local community.

A huge congratulations goes to everyone from Bond It who took part in what proved to be an exceptionally tough day, and a massive thank you to everyone who has donated and supported the team.

Together, we've raised £1,600 – and there's still time to support the fundraiser.
